It is said that life is suffering. I suffer with a permanent physical disability that is the result of cancer destroying multiple muscles and tendons in my leg. When the emotional and physical pain became too much to bear and the realization that nothing external would assuage it, I turned inward. I sought to better understand myself and my situation. My art comes from this place of inquiry. I believe I am still here to share my unique perspective and bring awareness to the trauma of cancer.
