I am submitting this on behalf of my wife. She uses art  to help manage the chaos that my three rare diseases can create. New diagnoses? She creates a masterpiece. Wife in uncontrollable pain? The chaos transforms into an intricate weave of lines and hidden images mimicking her realities. She has continued to be the creator of my smile; my beacon of light navigating me to safety in my darkest storms. For Kierstin, her drawing is her oxygen and her peace. Through her art she frees her frustrations, stress, and concerns and the end result is always beauty.
