Life with chronic illness can be limiting and defeating. But there is untold power in creating something beautiful, however simple. Painting is a unique way to escape and redeem the struggles that plague those of us with chronic symptoms. This picture symbolizes that door to a place of splendor, vibrancy and adventure that is always available through our imaginations. I am grateful to chronic illness for giving me permission to enter that land more freely!
