Art was always a hobby for me - I was discouraged from doing it as a career due to the many challenges involved, and thus ended up writing and editing for daily newspapers (until neurological disability ended that career path). Fortunately, I lived in a place where the arts are valued, and soon found my hobby had turned into a demanded skill, solely through word of mouth. Now I often have more work - especially during Saratoga's busy summer season - than my time and other limitations can accommodate!
