Through illness, the career I chose came to an end, and the life I was living met a crossroads as I needed to undergo two life-saving brain surgeries — 2.2cm of actual brain was removed. What seemed like a catastrophic loss afterward began to have clarity as my brain functioned in a completely new, artistic way.
