I recently received my MA and MFA from UAlbany, which took almost 10 years to get up the courage to quit my job and try. During that 10 years, my body completely changed, causing severe pain and debilitating chronic issues. I was finally diagnosed with my disease and have some answers. Art has been my only constant, I can always create, and now taking it seriously and pursuing my dream of being a working artist is actually happening which significantly helps offset the bad days. Painting, sculpting, and drawing all help me cope.
