I have had health issues since I was 9 years old. I have had 20 surgeries, including an organ transplant and I spent over 2 months on a ventilator in ICU. Every time I was in the hospital, I'd have coloring books, watercolors, and colored pens with me to keep me occupied.  Through all of the trauma, depression, and anxiety, art was and is my North Star. Creativity has saved my life on so many levels that I now teach others who are living with chronic illness.
