I’m a 100% disabled Army veteran who manages the chronic illnesses and invisible wounds that my multiple combat deployments left me with by creating art that speaks to the beauty that I must still find in the world to reconcile my place within it. Collage—with its intricate layers, gaining meaning just as much from its pieces and parts as from its whole, creates an elegant narrative to tell my story.
