I manage my illness through my art and have transformed that into a business (check out @MaleehasMarket on Instagram or Etsy!). By focusing on my art, it helps me understand I am not alone and lets me creatively express this. I want others to know they aren’t alone in battling their illness or disability, which was the focus of this series. Being a caregiver as well, helps me be there for others during their time of need showing the importance of supporting others and having this great satisfaction in aiding them. Truly, no one is alone, there is support out there.
