My husband, Josh, loved to watch me paint. He would quietly stand behind me for so long that I would forget he was there until I stepped back to look at my painting and accidentally bumped into him. My beautiful, loving, kind, and supportive Josh died this past year, living at home, cared for by me each and every day. I have not done any large paintings yet since his death. But I did this one of our Black German Shepherd dog, Ziva, and her friend, Tucker, in 2021. Art brings me happy memories of my wonderful husband, his love, and support of my passion.
