As my illnesses have progressed I have lost so many abilities. However, no one can take my art away from me. It gives me the opportunity to explore, create, innovate, dream, and imagine. No matter how sick I am I can create something. I've learned to tailor my workspace to my physical limitations and to work within my limits. The piece of art that I chose is a series of sketches that I did that depict my life with invisible disabilities. I feel unseen, unheard, exhausted, and angry. Art is my lifeline.
