I was told I would be dead in 3 years, 25 years ago this year. Needless to say, rumors of my predicted demise were greatly exaggerated! Although I live with the possibility that it may someday get me, I fend off the fear and the survivor's guilt by trying to bring some beauty into the world and strive to live one painting at a time. Maybe this is why I am still here.
