Stephanie: Artist Statement
Jordan's eyes were olive green brown--the color of my mom’s eyes. We live across from a pond. As a kid, he’d make rafts in the pond. But I painted this not because it’s the color of his eyes or of the pond, I painted this because Jordan always had a lot of depth to him...he was private…He was a deep kid. I really loved that about him.
