Kim: Artist Statement
What this piece means to me is God's hands lifting me up out of the darkness. The dark clouds in this picture symbolize addiction. I am the white line that is in the middle I am pulled out of the darkness but not fully out. I am still struggling with my addiction but I feel I'm out of the clouds headed the right way toward god my savior, I have surrendered and let go and let God take the wheel. As long as I stay above the dark clouds in God's hands I will be okay. I am blessed today and blessed to have shared my story with you. Thank you.
