I was able to manage the stress these past 18 months through the ability to create beautiful positive artwork to brighten and surround me. I’m painting to cover the walls of my new home with bright happy artwork.  My husband sexually assaulted me while I was his caregiver. Just separating from that toxic situation, the pandemic hit, leaving me working from home and all alone for the first time. The VA diagnosed me with CPTSD from current and previous sexual assaults. Currently, I have artwork and a painting on display at the women’s memorial in Washington DC.
