Anahata
Pastel
I have occipital neuralgia and nerve pain from three Lyme co-infections. It is very difficult for me to say no, and open my heart explaining a need for self-care and less stress. Working with pastels is messy like life itself, and there’s something soothing about 100% commitment to pure pigment. Art = vibrant play. Green is the color of the 4th Chakra, Anahata, symbolizing health, prosperity and abundance. Anahata is the energy center of love, and responsible for our sense of caring and compassion. Located behind the heart, Anahata opens for energy to flow freely through it in Camel Pose.
